Zachary Sapp was awarded the Kimberly M. Johnson, MD, Hometown Scholarship for 2025. He is the son of Whitney Deck.
Sapp will attend MTSU to obtain a degree in Instrumental Music Education. He will use the scholarship money to purchase a new tuba or euphonium.
The scholarship is available to a Cumberland County High School Senior who was delivered by or received prenatal care from Dr. Johnson. Students need to have plans for their future such as technical school, starting a business, entering the work force, college, or entering the Armed Forces.
