Pinkerton Academy legend and former Red Sox minor leaguer Jay Yennaco’s highly successful Northeast Wildcats AAU program has a new home with a sparkling new fitness center to accompany it.
Saturday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Yennaco’s new sports and fitness facility, Northeast Elite Athletics at 187 Hampstead Road in Derry, will host a Grand Opening with all invited to come and check the place out.
There will be tours of the massive 12,000 square foot facility, food trucks, a ribbon-cutting giveaways and much more.
The baseball facility features six full-length hitting tunnels with HitTrax technology designed to deliver the best in swing analytics, three dedicated pitching mounds and a “Tidal Tank” to help pitchers build core stability and power through dynamic water movement.
A 2,700 square foot gym area is massive with a Cardio Zone, Strength Training and Functional Fitness Area and a Sport-Specific Area.
There’s also a cold plunge, sauna and shower area, a parents’ lounge and kitchen, and conference room for all your needs.
Lessons, rentals and memberships are all available. All are invited to come down on Saturday and check the place out.
