The Crossville City Council approved applying for a grant to help fund a city-operated ambulance service in a 3 to 2 vote during the Tuesday city council meeting.
Mayor Pro-tem Art Gernt and Council Members Mike Turner and Dr. Mark Fox voted for the motion to approve the grant. Mayor R.J. Crawford and James Mayberry voted against the motion.
