KEYSER, W.Va. — WVU Medicine Potomac Valley Hospital has been recognized by the Center for Organ Recovery & Education with a Silver Award for its participation in the 2025 Donate Life West Virginia Challenge.
The Donate Life West Virginia Hospital Challenge is a statewide initiative that encourages hospitals to educate patients, visitors, and staff about the critical need for organ, eye, and tissue donors. Participating hospitals work to increase donor awareness, provide educational programming, and promote donor registration within their organizations and local communities.
Through its involvement in the challenge, Potomac Valley Hospital joins hospitals across the state in supporting CORE’s mission to increase the number of registered donors and ensure that more patients receive the lifesaving transplants they need.
