Plateau Creative Arts Center’s monthly smorgasbord classes allow participants to try out different mediums at more affordable prices.
In September’s smorgasbord class, students will have a fun hands-on experience painting a glass tile from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Art Guild member Bob Stevens, a master glass painter, will teach this introductory class. He will introduce students to the basic skills and techniques of glass painting. Starting with a basic design and application of paint, students will complete one original piece of beautiful glass art.
The cost for this class has been subsidized by a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee funded by William N. Rollins Fund for the Arts. Fees are $12.50 for Art Guild at Fairfield Glade members and $15 for guests. Without grant subsidies, this class is normally $25 and $30, respectively.
All materials will be provided.
