Heavy State Police presence on Northway

The New York State Police issued a travel advisory for the I-87 Northway on Wednesday morning.
State Police said they will have a heavy presence on the I-87 Northway from Exit 28 (North Schroon Lake: U.S. 9, New York 74 to Ticonderoga) through Exit 20 (Fort Ann, Queensbury, Lake George, New York, 149 and U.S. 9) due to an ongoing investigation.
There is no current threat to the public.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area but if travel is necessary, stay alert and use caution.
