North Andover High senior Isa (Isabella) Robinson put together one of the all-time best seasons in Scarlet Knights history.
She becomes the first Massachusetts player not named Kerri Finneran, of Central Catholic, to be named the Eagle-Tribune’s Player of the Year since Andover’s Jordan Torres in 2018.
On attack, Robinson finished the season with 108 goals and 34 assists for 142 points, while leading the Knights to 18 wins, including a trip to the Division 1 Elite-8. She closes out her career as one of the program’s all-time scorers with 254 goals, 73 assists and 329 points, along with 104 draw controls and 60 groundballs.
Robinson is a three-time MVC All-Conference selection, a three-time All-Scholastic, a two-time Eagle-Tribune All-Star, while being selected as the MVC Division 1 Player of the Year, Eastern Mass All-Star and an All-American this spring.
Previously she was named to the New Balance New England All-American team as a sophomore and played in the Daughters Nation Lake Placid Summit Tournament helping her team win the Silver Division Championship.
A four-year starter, who earlier this season notched a program record ten goals against defending state champion Central Catholic, will continue to play at Furman University.
“Isa is one of the hardest working players I’ve ever coached,” said NA head coach Jenn Pino. “She strikes a great balance between being serious and having fun, which makes her such a unique presence on our team. Isa is a special player, someone who will do whatever it takes to win. She grew into an outstanding leader and played a huge role in our team’s success.”
