Niagara Falls police are investigating the death of a 34-year-old man found severely injured on Main Street Monday night.
Police were called to the area of Main Street and Michigan Avenue about 11:45 p.m. for reports of a person bleeding in the roadway. Police located the unresponsive man in front of the Rapids Theatre building and the Niagara Falls Fire Department and AMR were rushed to the scene. Despite life-saving efforts by EMS, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the man had suffered injuries from an unknown object.
Criminal Investigation and Crime Scene detectives responded and took over the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Falls detectives at 716-286-4553.
