New York State Park Police were searching the Niagara Gorge for a person who reportedly committed suicide from the Niagara Falls Observation Deck Tuesday afternoon.
The incident was reported to Park Police about noon on Tuesday, according to a release from State Park Police.
An immediate search of the area commenced using Park Police drone, vessel, foot searches of the gorge, and visual searches from overlooks. Nothing had been found as of 4 p.m. Tuesday. Search efforts were ongoing.
