NOCO will host a free geothermal informational seminar at Willow Room, 6676 Lincoln Ave., from 6 to 7 p.m. June 17.
Brian Posner, geothermal specialist, will share the basics of geothermal systems and information regarding the installation process. Also, information about various federal and state tax credits, and rebate options through utility companies, will be discussed.
The seminar is geared towards homeowners, home builders, architects, facility managers and real estate developers who are looking to learn more about the heating and cooling technology. Refreshments will be provided.
NOCO says geothermal systems are recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as the most environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and energy-efficient heating and cooling technology available.
