NH Division I First Round
Windham 10, Dover 5
Led by five goals by senior Darby Madden, the No. 9 seed Jaguars edged out the No. 8 seed Green Wave. Anna Hartmann added two goals. Defensively, the unit of Kiley Candon, Kiera Lee, Laikyn Reeners, Addie Filadaro and Sophie Manchester played extremely well in front of goalie Lyla Filadaro (10 saves).
The win pushes Windham to the semi-finals to take on No. 1 seed Portsmouth on Thursday, 5 p.m.
NH Division III First Round
Derryfield 15, Pelham 12
In a back-and-forth competitive game, the No. 6 seed Derryfield edged out the No. 11 seed Pythons. Leading the offense for Pelham was Ella Desimone, who finished with seven goals, while Katherine Carroll added two.
Mass Division 1 Round of 16
Central Catholic 11, Lexington 7
The No. 9 seed Raiders (12-10) won their second playoff game over the No. 8 seed Minutemen (20-2). Kerri Finneran had a big game scoring six goals, while adding two assists and winning ten draw controls. Cam Donlan (2 goals, 1 assist) and Liv Rondeau (3 goals) and Sarah Wilson (1 goal, 1 assist) rounded out the scoring, while goalie Anne Cashman made three saves.
With the win, defending state champions advance to the state quarterfinal round and will play the winner of Wednesday’s game between No. 1 Concord-Carlisle and No. 17 Bishop Feehan.
Mass Division 2 Round of 16
Notre Dame (Hingham) 20,
Methuen 3
The No. 1 seed was too much for the No. 16 seed Rangers (17-5). Kiera Fitzpatrick scored two goals and Hanane Aboutoui had the other.
Boys Lacrosse
Mass Division 1 Round of 16
BC High 16, Central Catholic 5
The No. 16 seed Raiders (7-13) put up a good fight against the top-seed. Luke Faletra scored two goals, Chase Akstin had a goal and two assists, while Cat Schoenfeld and Cam Brosnihan had one goal each.
Maddox Moscardini started in net and made six saves before leaving with an injury. Logan Sheedy came in and made 14 terrific stops.

NH Division I Semi-Finals
Derryfield 7,
Pinkerton Academy 2
The top seed Derryfield was too much for the No. 4 seed Astros (12-4). At. No. 6 singles, Darcy Ludman won her match 8-0 and at third doubles the team of Natalie Olson and Madison Lagasse won 8-6.
Boys Tennis
Mass Division 1 Round of 16
Acton-Boxboro 4, Andover 1
Played under the lights, the No. 2 seed AB came away with a hard-fought win over the No. 18 seed Warriors (14-5). The lone win for Andover came from the first doubles team of Matt Wang and Ryan Furlong, who won 2-6, 6-3, 10-4 in a third set tiebreaker.
Second doubles team of Aaryan Deshwal and Ricky Tran lost in three sets.
Next year, Andover will return five of its top seven players.
Monday’s Games Boys Lacrosse
Mass Division 2 Round of 32
North Andover 11, Grafton 4
The No. 12 seed Scarlet Knights (9-10) were led by Trey Kean (4 goals, 2 assists), Tommy Farrell (3-1), Chase Seidel (2-1), Matt Donovan (2 goals) and John Kuberski (1 assist) to get past No. 21 Grafton (7-12).
Senior defenseman Santi Alvarez dominated his matchup and forced multiple turnovers on the defensive side of the ball. Senior goaltender Brayden Santora made seven saves to secure the win.
North Andover will travel to face No. 5 Mansfield (18-1) on Wednesday night, 7:30 p.m.
Softball
Mass Division 1 Round of 32
Lincoln-Sudbury 3, Haverhill 1
Emmy Duran Monrreal provided the only offensive spark for the No. 27 Hillies (11-10), belting a solo home run but that wasn’t enough to get past No. 6 Lincoln-Sudbury (16-5). Cayla Irwin pitched six strong innings for Haverhill, striking out six.
The Hillies qualified for the tournament after missing out last season with just seven wins.

Bridgewater-Raynham 4,
Central Catholic 1
The No. 8 seed Bridgewater-Raynham (16-6) jumped out to an early lead and No. 9 Central (16-5) couldn’t recover. Caitlin Miner singled to drive in Jill Clements, who had doubled, for the Raiders lone run.
