Cumberland County School Nutrition Program’s free Summer Meals Program gets underway this week, with numerous sites throughout the county offering free breakfast and lunch to ages 18 and younger.
Two types of sites will be open. Bulk meal pickup will be each Tuesday and Friday, May 30-July 29. Three days of meals will be distributed Tuesday, with four days of meals distributed Friday.
On-site meal sites will distribute two meals per day. Each site operates on an individual schedule.
Per federal regulations, children may receive only two meals per day. A child who receives meals at a daily onsite location cannot participate in the meal pickup program.
