The Newburyport Horticultural Society is grateful for all the support received for our annual plant sale which took place on a rain soaked Saturday. Thank you to the Newburyport Senior/Community Center for hosting the event inside. A big thanks to our major sponsors, the Institution For Savings and Iron Tree Services. We had additional support from Rochester Electronics and Deanna Scrubs.
It was a pleasure have help from an amazing group of high school students. Geo MacMillan, Raelyn Crifo, Vee Shields, Charlie Marchand, Benjamin Marchand, Patricia McConnell, Casey Durbin, Greta Gibbons and Lee Hall helped setup, assist shoppers and cleanup. A special thank you to the ukulele musicians who entertained everyone. Funds raised help support local high school scholarships and Newburyport community gardens. See you next year.
