MANKATO — Grant applications are being accepted by Greater Mankato Growth Foundation’s Main Street Economic Revitalization Program.
Businesses seeking to develop or redevelop property in one of three commercial corridors in Blue Earth and Nicollet counties may apply to cover up to 30% of the total eligible construction project costs.
Target corridors include downtown Mankato and North Mankato, the Highway 169/Highway 60 corridor, and the Highway 14 corridor.
The revitalization program is funded by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.
Applicants should be planning construction projects of at least $5,000 that will be completed by June 30, 2026. Grant applications are due June 1. A committee will review all projects and create recommendations for project funding.
