EXETER — New Hampshire native Debra Woodward will present a show of her oil paintings at the new library in North Hampton, where she has lived for over 30 years.
The show opens with an artist reception from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13. Most of the paintings will be for sale. Attendees can enjoy music by her friend and fellow Manchester native Carol Coronis of Portsmouth.
Coronis is known for her Balkan/Middle Eastern, Celtic, rock, and American roots genre and is also a weekend WUNH radio show host. She has been a member of the NH State Council on the Arts Traditional Arts Roster for Greek music since 2004.
Woodward is immediate past vice president at the Seacoast Artist Association in Exeter, where she has also served as publicist as well as creator/organizer of their monthly reception music program. She has been an exhibiting member there since 2016.
She has been a juried member of the NH Art Association in Portsmouth since 2012 and previously served on their Board of Directors.
Woodward worked in the book business for 40 years, beginning with Marshall Miller at the Paperback Booksmith in Newington. She spent seven years as a book buyer for Barnes and Noble in New York City.
