PERU — It was all Peru against Saranac in tennis, Thursday.
The Nighthawk boys swept the Spartans that included a first tennis match win for Cogan St. Denis and Spencer Davies at the #3 doubles.
The other doubles tandems of Isaac Hathaway and Camden Sweeney and Evan Brubach and Connor Perrotte claimed wins in the #1 and #2 doubles, respectively.
Colin Powers and Caleb Powers took home the wins in the singles to help close out the sweep.
On the girls side, it was more of the same, with Saranac’s Calliegh Breyette winning the #2 singles to grab a win for the visitor.
Outside of that, it was all Peru with Anna Zanonato winning the #1 singles.
The doubles saw the tandomes of Elise Beauharnois and Bella Berry, Maddy Mero and Jennie Davis and Brooke Taptick and Mia Winters claim victories for the Nighthawks.

LAKE PLACID — The Eagles took care of business against the Bombers with wins in boys and girls tennis.
Lake Placid’s lone win on the day came from Henry Becker in the boys #1 singles. Every other victory went to Beekmantown.
Evan Latinville won the #2 singles for the Eagles in a hard fought contest against Parker Scanio.
In doubles play, Jackson Goodwin and Sonny Debella, Jack Brown and Tyler Sand and Jack Thebert and Max Danville won the doubles play from #1 to #3, respectively.
On the girls side, the Hagadorn duo of Olivia and Carly won the #1 and #2 singles, respectively.
Lucy Conroy and Julia Conroy won the #1 doubles, Sawyer Fleming and Jade Burdo in the #2 doubles and Isla Oest and Calla Oest won the #3 doubles to lead the Beekmantown sweep.
