NEWBURYPORT — The Newburyport Farmers’ Market returns for another season on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Tannery Marketplace, 50 Water St.
The weekly market will have many of the community favorite farms from past years: High Road Farm will bring veggies and herbs; Nallie Pastures will offer pastured raised chickens and eggs; Daisy Jane Farm will bring freshly cut flowers; and T.H.E. Farm will offer Beyond Organic Microgreens, garlic and vegetables.
Also, Farmer Dave and Heron Pond Farm will offer sustainably grown vegetables and accept SNAP/EBT cards with the HIP match.
New vendors will join the market in May and June. Starting in May, Sweet London Bakery will offer a fusion of British heritage and global flavors. Tummy Full Indian food will bring authentic, freshly prepared Indian dishes to the market each Sunday. Market favorites Rosita’s Cocina, Terra D’Amuri, A & J Bakery and Karimah’s Kitchen will return to the market starting May 4.
Lee Biddle will kick off the season May 4 with a mix of Americana- and Nashville-inspired tunes.
The market is sponsored by Newburyport Bank and Anna Jaques Hospital.
