Alsup sets record

The throw ranks Alsup No. 6 in Eagle-Tribune area history, since the javelin was changed. Timberlane’s Kyle Faucher (196-1) set the modern record in 2016.
“I’m very excited to set the record,” said Alsup. “This is something I’ve been looking forward to breaking over the past year, and I hope to continue to improve.”
