ATTICA, Ind. — The Seeger boys and girls teams traveled to Attica on Thursday and won a meet that also included Covington.
In the boys meet, Conner Winder won the 110 meter hurdles (18.67 seconds) and the high jump (5 feet, 5 1/4 inches) while Parker Bryant won the 800 (2:24) and the long jump (16-6) for the Patriots. Jax Watson won the 400 (1:01), John Puterbaugh took the 3,200 (11:36), Maddox Reynolds won the 300 hurdles (47.33), Kanin Hickman won the shot put (37-10) and Isaiah Max won the discus (128-3).
The 3,200 relay team of Landon Britton, Layton Lowery, Joshua Dill and Watson won in 10:54.
Covington was second with Marquess Osborn winning the 1,600 (2:38) and the 1,600 relay team of Landon Carrion, Tom Dinant, Ridley Keele and Osborn won in 4:27.
In the girls meet, Lorelei Lanie won the 400 (1:09), the 100 hurdles (19.5) and the high jump (4-7) for Seeger, while Caleigh Purcell won the 300 hurdles (54.5) and long jump (14-5) and Kaylynn Coffman won the shot put (31-2) and discus (89-0).
Claire Nern won the 800 (3:01), while Emily Greene won the 1,600 (6:03.46) and Maria Frasch won the 3,200 (12:07). The 3,200 relay team of Marissa Rickey, Greene, Purcell and Zara VanVactor won in 12:00.
Preslei Lazzell won the 100 (13.96) and 200 (27.89) for Covington, while Kenzie Gassaway won the 400 (1:09). The 400 team of Allie Hunt, Haley Rottman, Sophia Scott-Musa and Lazzell won in 55.55 and the 1,600 team of Rottman, Keira Smith, Hunt and Gassaway won in 4:48.
