The 2025 Alzheimer’s Tennessee Plateau Walk to Make Alzheimer’s a Memory is just a few weeks away.
The community event that raises money to advance research and help Tennesseans touched by Alzheimer’s disease will begin with registration at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church at 130 Towne Centre Drive.
The rain-or-shine event welcomes all Cumberland Countians and their four-legged family members. A pet parade and contest gets underway at 10:30 a.m., followed by music courtesy of the Plateau Pluckers.
Family-friendly games and attractions are also planned.
The opening ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m., with the walk starting at noon.
Teams are now forming and raising funds. Go to alzTennessee.org/PlateauWalk or call 931-526-8010 for information about starting a team volunteering or donating to this event in which 100% of all funding raised stays in Tennessee.
