AMESBURY — Main Street Congregational Church, 145 Main St., Amesbury is hosting the following events:
On Sept. 21 the community is invited to a flea market on the church lawn. Vendors may set up to sell their “treasures” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Sept. 29 and the lawn turns into a sea of orange! Every year the Main Street Congregational Church receives a truckload of pumpkins from Pumpkin Patch USA. The pumpkins are grown in Farmington, New Mexico on a reservation. More than 700 local residents are employed in the growing of these pumpkins and decorative gourds which are then shipped to churches and other non-profits across the country. Come by for a beautiful pumpkin, a photo, and activities for children.
On Oct. 12 visit the pumpkin patch to peruse a variety of locally crafted art and artist demonstrations displayed and ready to be purchased from 20-plus crafters.
