On the weekend of Aug. 17, the United Fund of Cumberland County hosted their 14th annual Golf Tournament at Dorchester Golf Course in Fairfield Glade.
This year, the United fund was thrilled to have over 44 teams competing. Golfers tee’d off beginning at 8 a.m. and throughout the day. The United Fund was pleased to host new competitors, as well as past competitors and board members.
While the United Fund was pleased to present their first and second flight finishers with donated prizes, the United Fund was the true winner raising over $11,000. With the proceeds, the United Fund will continue making a difference in the community, living out their motto “Together, we can make a difference.”
