A Putnam County man facing four counts of theft of merchandise in Cumberland County Criminal Court pleaded guilty to the charges. That case and others were on the March 11 court docket.
Robert Joseph Salyers, 65, appeared before Criminal Court Judge Wesley Bray and entered guilty pleas to the following:
•Theft of up to $1,000 occurring on Jan. 9, 2021, to serve 11 months and 29 days with credit for 11 days already served, court costs waived, to pay $153.98 and banned from Walmart;
• Theft of up to $1,000 occurring on Feb. 4, 2024, 11 months and 29 days with credit for 11 days already served,, court costs waived and to pay $127.82 restitution to Walmart;
•Theft of merchandise of more than $1,000 occurring on Feb. 9, 2024, two years to serve and to pay $1,942.08 restitution to Walmart; and,
•Theft of merchandise of more than $1,000 occurring on Feb. 9, 2024, court costs waived and to pay $2,603.98 restitution to Lowe’s with restraining order from that store.
The sentence with a mix of consecutive and concurrent judgments results in a four-year sentence to be served as a Range 1 offender.

•Derrick Brandon Parrott, theft of property of $2,500 to $10,000, vandalism of $1,000 to $2,500 and simple possession of meth, continued to May 13.
•Frank Henry Quince Jr., aggravated assault, continued to May 6.
•Alyssa D. Thompson, aggravated assault, continued.
•Fred Issac Threet, possession of meth with intent, continued to May 13.
Motions/hearings
•Jimmy Luther Bowman Jr., cases pending action of the grand jury in boundover status, bond hearing set for May 6. Bond is currently set at $125,000.
