The Roxbury Arts Group announced its 2025 performance season will open Saturday, June 7.
According to a news release, the season will take place over the next six months across its three venues: the Roxbury Arts Center, the Old School Baptist Church, and the Headwaters Arts Center. This season promises a diverse array of performances that offer something for every artistic taste and interest. Tickets are on sale now for all of these events. The Roxbury Arts Center at 5025 Vega Mountain Road in Roxbury, will host the following live performances in Hilt Kelly Hall:
• Villalobos Brothers – a Grammy Award-winning family band will be at 7:30 p.m. June 7. The band performs Mexican folk, jazz and classical music.
• Louis Michot – a fiddle player and lead singer for the Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 13. He combines his passion for Louisiana French, local folklore, and sustainability into a compelling solo performance.
• LauraB – a Spanish singer-songwriter known for her honeyed voice and intimate acoustic performances that blend traditional folk with modern pop at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1. She will also perform during Andes Community Day on Aug. 2.
• Supaman – an Apsaalooke Nation dancer and hip-hop artist who has dedicated his life to spreading a message of hope, pride and resilience, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.
• FIDDLERS! 32 – A fiddle-focused festival where the music is genuine, the food is delicious and the company is warm, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12.
The Old School Baptist Church, at the intersection of Route 36 and Cartwright Road in Denver, will feature performances that celebrate the pristine acoustics of this historic and bucolic space:
• Thomas Giles – An award-winning saxophonist will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12.
• Catalyst Quartet – This Grammy Award-winning string quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12.
The Headwaters Arts Center, at 66 Main St. in Stamford, serves as a vibrant hub for community arts and creative exploration. All performances at this venue are free:
• Sara Milonovich & Greg Anderson – The award-winning singer-songwriter and fiddler will present a collection of soul-stirring original roots rock and alt-Americana treasures with her longtime guitarist Greg Anderson at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.
