HAVERHILL — A car collision caused a portion of Route 110 to close to all motor vehicle traffic Tuesday evening.
The Haverhill Police Department posted a traffic advisory at 6:24 p.m. announcing the road closure near River Street and Hunter Avenue, advising drivers to seek other routes.
Haverhill Fire and Police responded to the incident, assisting the individuals who were at the scene.
A damaged white SUV was sent off the road while another black vehicle, also damaged, remained in the center of the taped-off roadway.
Several residents responded to the Haverhill Police Department’s online post, reporting that the tragic incident may have left a pedestrian injured.
