OAKWOOD — The Oakwood softball team held onto the lead until the seventh inning, when Tri-County scored two runs to get a 9-8 win on Tuesday.
Samantha Dunavan had two hits and two RBIs for the Comets, while Gracie Enos had three hits and a RBI, Bella Bradford had two hits and a RBI and Gracie Hanner, Madi McFarland and Brooklyn Myers each had an RBI.
The Comets drop to 1-4 and will face Blue Ridge on Wednesday.
