DANVILLE — The Danville girls basketball team started the second half of the season with a tough 58-26 loss to Mahomet-Seymour on Tuesday.
Jada Bell had 13 points to lead the Lady Vikings, while Gabi Huerta had four and Lindsey Porter added three points.
Danville saw itself down 18-3 in the first quarter and while they cut the Bulldogs’ lead to 31-14 by halftime, the Lady Vikings could get no closer.
The Lady Vikings return to action on Friday, when they host Peoria High.
