DANVILLE — The Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin girls basketball team got its second win at the Vermilion County Tournament with a 52-37 win over Westville on Monday.
Alivia Reifsteck had 14 points for the Blue Devils, who took a 12-11 first quarter lead and built it to a 27-21 halftime lead and a 37-24 third quarter lead, while Draycee Nelson had 13 points, Ella Acton ahd 12 points and Gentry Elson added seven points.
Lani Gondzur had 17 points to lead the Tigers, while Gwen Bennett had 12 points and Madison Jones and Madison Duke each had three points.
The Blue Devils will take on Hoopeston Area on Wednesday in a battle to get into Friday’s Championship, while Westville will take on Armstrong-Potomac on Wednesday.
