VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — The Fountain Central football team needed a break going into the playoffs and Parke Heritage was that team on Friday.
The Mustangs jumped to a 24-0 halftime lead and would go on to get a 31-6 win over the Wolves.
Eli Foxworthy had 184 yards passing with two touchdowns, a 41-yard scoring strike to Asher Davis and a touchdown pass to Noah Dodson in the first quarter. Dodson ended up with 124 yards rushing and 85 yards receiving with two touchdowns, Davis had 52 yards receiving, Dakoda Willoughby ran for 41 yards and Levi Alexander had 29 yards rushing and a touchdown.
On defense, Paul Adams had three interceptions for Fountain Central.
The Mustangs end the regular season 4-5 and will face South Putnam next week for sectional play.
