WATSEKA — The Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Westville boys soccer team was in a battle in its final regular season game on Thursday.
The Buffaloes battled Watseka/Milford to a 3-3 tie after the first half, but a penalty kick goal for the Warriors gave them a 4-3 win.
Simonas Ankstutis scored all three goals for GRFW, while Elijah Jones and Nolan Klugo each had an assist and Matt Darling had 17 saves.
The Buffaloes end the regular season at 6-8 and will face Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin in regional play on Oct. 19.
