FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — A prayer vigil for former Mineral County sheriff and Fountain Volunteer Fire Company Chief Jeremy Taylor will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the Mineral County Fairgrounds in Fort Ashby.
Taylor, who is battling Stage IV cancer, also serves as a career firefighter in Berkeley County and a fire service instructor.
A GoFundMe account has been established to help the Taylor family with medical treatments, lodging and travel expenses.
