CUMBERLAND — The Potomac Concert Band will perform Sept. 1 at Constitution Park at 7:30 p.m. to close out the Sunday in the Park season.
The band, under the direction of Jay Moon, will perform popular selections “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Les Miserables” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Other numbers include “Doctor Who Through Time and Space,” “New York 1927” and “A Percy Grainger Suite.” The band will also feature the trumpet section in Leroy Anderson’s “Bugler’s Holiday.” “Armed Forces Salute” will honor our military service members.
In the event of inclement weather, the band will perform at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
The band will also be performing at Heritage Days on Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. on Washington Street in front of the courthouse.
The band would like to thank Liberty Christian Fellowship and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for allowing use of facilities.
