Putting together one of the most dominant seasons offensively in the region’s history, winning the area’s triple crown and culminating with a state championship, Pinkerton Academy’s Jackson Marshall was named Player of the Year in Division I by the Baseball Coaches Association of New Hampshire.
The SNHU-bound slugger led the region in batting average (.508), homers (6) and RBIs (23) in pacing the Astros to their second state title in three years.
Winnacunnet’s Jones Vicinus was named the D-I Pitcher of the Year and Londonderry’s Owen Carey was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year.
Pinkerton boss Steve Campo earned the Division I Coach of the Year.
