ACCIDENT — Behind a game-high 25 points from Abby Nelson, Northern routed Bishop Walsh, 60-29, on Monday night.
The Huskies (5-4) led 17-8, 33-15 and 47-18 after the first three quarters. Bishop Walsh fell to 3-5.
Kaylee Bowser was second on the Huskies with eight points. Rachel Wharton paced the Spartans with 12.
Northern is at No. 1 Southern (9-1) on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Bishop Walsh hosts No. 4 Mountain Ridge (6-3) on Friday at 6 p.m.
No. 5 Fort Hill 47 Broadfording 33
CUMBERLAND — Lindsay Fleming scored 13 points, and No. 5 Fort Hill won by 14 points over Broadfording on Monday.
Fleming hit three triples for the Sentinels (6-2) and led Fort Hill in scoring.
Caniyah Plummer and Aubry Spangler each added nine points.
Spangler did not score from the field, but shot 9 of 12 at the free throw line.
Fanta Minteh led all scorers with 19 points for Broadfording, 11 coming in the third quarter.
The Sentinels led 13-9 after one quarter, 22-15 at the break and 35-26 heading to the fourth.
Fort Hill faces crosstown rival No. 3 Allegany (8-1) on the road on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
