Shortly after responding to the Americarb fire on Niagara Falls Boulevard on Saturday night, Niagara Falls firefighters were called to a fire at a vacant home on 10th Street and Cleveland Avenue.
The blaze was called in about 10:05 p.m. Saturday with a caller stating someone may have been trapped inside the burning structure.
Arriving firefighters found the boarded-up home at 1001 Cleveland Avenue engulfed in flames.
Fire crews arrived on scene and house the vacant house at 1001 Cleveland Avenue engulfed in flames. Firefighters extinguished the fire and searched the structure but no one was found inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
