CUMBERLAND — Another near triple-double from Avery Miller led No. 3 Allegany to a 48-31 win over Hampshire Wednesday.
Miller finished with a game-high 27 points, adding 10 rebounds, nine steals and four blocks.
It’s the 10th time this season Miller either finished a steal or assist shy of a triple-double.
Amanda Vizza finished with eight points and seven rebounds for the Campers (17-3).
Della Knight led the Trojans (11-10) with 14 points.
Alco led 8-2, 29-10 and 40-18 through the first three quarters.
Allegany ends the season with a pair of road games, starting Friday at Severna Park.
Hampshire is at Greenbrier West on Saturday at 7 p.m.
No. 2 Keyser 53, Hedgesville 41
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. — No. 2 Keyser was without its leading scorer Bibs Felton, but the Golden Tornado held on to beat Hedgesville Wednesday.
Felton suffered a leg injury in Tuesday’s loss to Southern and was the third-leading scorer in the area at 18.8 points as of Monday’s rankings.
Autumn Kerchner scored a game-high 18 points for Keyser including 10 of the Tornado’s 16 points in the fourth quarter.
Austyn Healy scored seven of Keyser’s 17 points in the second quarter and finished with 11.
Rylee Bodkins led the Eagles with 17 points including 13 in the first half while Lexie Brown scored 10 in the second half.
The Tornado trailed 11-9 and 21-17 in the first half but led 37-27 after three and outscored the Eagles 16-14 in the fourth.
Keyser hosts Petersburg (10-10) Friday before ending the regular season at Elkins on Monday at 5:45 p.m.
