MERRIMAC — Local artist Deb Hewey’s charcoal drawings and Treehouse Collection will be on display through December at the Merrimac Public Library, 86 West Main St., Merrimac. Her art is also currently for sale at the Coastal Moon Cafe on Route 110 in Amesbury.
Hewey was teacher in Amesbury until June of 2023 when she had an opportunity to start building a second career from her art. She has exhibited work in both juried and national juried shows and is an artist member of the Newburyport Art Association.
The public is invited to attend an artist reception on Nov. 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Merrimac Public Library.
