LE CENTER — A Minneapolis man is set to have a sexual assault charge against him dismissed in Le Sueur County upon completion of probation.
The recent sentencing of Anthony Miller Spada, 28, is related to alleged activity with a minor in Kasota in 2019, according to court records. He was charged with felony fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in November 2023.
Spada sought an Alford plea in the case, meaning he claimed innocence while acknowledging prosecutors had sufficient evidence to secure a guilty verdict if the case went to trial.
His supervised probation will last two years. If he doesn’t successfully complete probation, he could resentenced in the case.
