The Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, the state’s top organization for providing vision services for children adults and seniors who otherwise do not have access to vision care, is pleased to announce board members that have begun service on the Board of Directors effective July 1. Their fresh viewpoints and knowledge will help advance the organization’s goal of providing clear vision to more Georgians. Board members are elected for a three-year term.
Diana Madero of Dalton has been elected to the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation board. Madero was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and has lived in the United States for more than 26 years. She is an active member of the Dalton Lions Club, serving as treasurer.
Madero is a successful business owner who established her accounting firm in Dalton, Accurate Accounting & Document Services Inc.
“I am an active leader in the community and teach English classes to Spanish-speaking adults,” said Madero. “I love helping others and am always looking for opportunities to do so.”
Madero is the newest board member of the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation and also the youngest at 36.
