Author Buddy Ray gave a presentation to the Write Away writing group at Art Circle Public Library recently. Topics included marketing using Artificial Intelligence, Facebook and YouTube. There were fourteen authors in attendance. The group meets the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Ray writes from his home in the mountains of East Tennessee, on the Cumberland Plateau. His recent book “In the Shadow of the Cumberland: Truth, Judgment and the Girl History Buried” is based on a real event. This and other books are available on Amazon.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, the library will host Author Day 2025. This free event will bring together library patrons and authors. Authors keep all proceeds from the sales of their books. Published authors who would like to set up a display should send an email to nancy.lyn@hotmail.com. Space is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.
