CUMBERLAND — Former Cumberland Police Lt. Brian Lepley was the top vote-getter and incumbent Eugene Frazier won a third term in the race for two seats Tuesday on City Council, according to unofficial results.
Incumbent Laurie Marchini finished third.
Lepley earned 3,618 votes, followed by Frazier with 3,222.
Frazier was first elected in 2016 and reelected in 2020.
Marchini received 2,324 votes.
She was appointed to the council in January 2019 to fill the term of then-Councilman Dave Caporale, who had been elected to the Allegany County Commission.
Marchini was elected to a four-year term in 2020.
Simeon Leonard Younger finished fourth with 943 votes and D. A. Tinnen fifth with 401.
