RANTOUL — Offense and more offense was the theme of the day for the Danville Post 210 Junior Speakers on Tuesday.
Chance Quick and Ayden Batchelor combined for eight hits and 10 RBIs as the Junior Speakers cruised past Rantoul 22-9 at Wabash Park in Rantoul.
Joining Quick and Batchelor with five RBIs on Tuesday was Danville’s Jaxon Spicer, who had two doubles and a home run in his four at-bats for the Junior Speakers, who improve to 21-2 overall.
Winning pitcher Pedro Rangel V had three hits, while catcher Ben Johnson had a double, a home run and four RBIs in the winning cause.
Landon Butts and Holden Cargo led Rantoul with two hits each and three RBIs.
