CUMBERLAND — Taylor Lamberson scored a season-high 19 points, leading No. 4 Mountain Ridge to a 57-35 win at No. 5 Fort Hill on Wednesday.
Lamberson scored 15 points twice this season against Trinity and Northern.
Lamberson hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 of the 19 in the second and third quarters.
Kealana Pua’auli finished with 11 points for the Miners (11-6, 4-3 Western Maryland Athletic Conference), only making two field goals but shooting 6 of 11 at the line.
Aubry Spangler led the Sentinels (7-6, 0-4 WestMAC) with 11 points.
Mountain Ridge led 14-12 after one quarter, 24-20 at halftime and 41-32 heading to the fourth.
Fort Hill heads to No. 1 Southern (15-1, 6-0 WestMAC) on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Mountain Ridge also plays at Southern in its next game on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
