BLUE EARTH — Eastbound Interstate 90 ramps at Faribault County Road 23 east of Blue Earth will reopen to traffic Monday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Restrictions will remain in effect for the westbound lanes from 1 mile east of Faribault County Road 23 to 1 mile east of Highway 22 (south of Wells) until mid-October. Traffic using that section of the interstate will be restricted to one lane in each direction.
The exit ramp from eastbound I-90 to Highway 22 south of Wells will remain closed until mid-October. Traffic is being directed to exit at County Road 17 and use County Road 16 to Highway 22.
The interstate resurfacing project is scheduled to be completed by late October.
The eastbound and westbound I-90 rest areas just west of Blue Earth are closed until a pavement project is completed in mid-October.
