PERU — Just under 1.5 points separated the Hornets and Nighthawks. Plattsburgh needed every point it could muster to defeat Peru, 126.6-125.25.
Four tenths of a point separated first through third in the all-around. Oona Hall of PHS took first at 33.5, Peru’s Ella LaBarge in second at 33.2 and Plattsburgh’s Caleigh Latour at 33.1.
In events, Hall won the floor (9.1) and beam (8.8). LaBarge took home wins in the bars (8.3) and tied with Elena Gushlaw and Latour on the vault at 8.1.
The trio also didn’t finish lower than fourth place in any event. The lowest was LaBarge on the beat at 8.3, a tenth behind Latour’s 8.4
Aubree Narducci took fourth in the all-around at 31.55. Gushlaw finished fifth at 31.3 and Sienna Coolidge rounded out the top six at 30.3.
