The Dalton Herb Society held its monthly meeting at the Whitfield County Senior Center. President Joyce Busby presided over the meeting.
Nancy Zelinski presented the Herb of the Month: hyssop. The plant is an evergreen bushy herb and has been used for millennia as a holy herb. The herb is native to southern Europe and is grown in cooler climates around the world.
“My Favorite Product“ was the program for the month. The members brought interesting items to share. These products included growing vegetables from a hanging net, uses of coconut oil, an air fryer for herbs and vegetables, an indoor kit for growing herbs and a variety of teas, plus many other helpful items.
As each person presented their useful product, the Herb Society meeting was enjoyed by all members and guests.
