Rock ‘n’ roll is here to stay at the Historic Palace Theatre on Aug. 26, when the Kenan Arts Council presents the timeless classic film, “Grease,” for its fourth annual movie night fundraiser.
In addition to the movie, there will be a basket raffle, gift card drawing, wine and spirit drawing, a 50/50, and a costume contest.
Proceeds from the fundraiser go toward the Kenan Arts Council’s scholarships for students going into the arts, as well as other KAC activities and the KAC’s support of the Kenan Center’s mission.
Doors open at 6, and the movie will start at 7:30 p.m. Presale tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Palace, at the Kenan Center house office, or from a Kenan Arts Council member.
Tickets purchased at the door the evening of the event will cost $15.
