DASHER — The Georgia Christian Generals continued their dominant football season with a commanding 68-3 win over Citizens Christian Academy on Friday, Oct. 4th. The Generals, led by a dynamic performance from quarterback Briceten Gaines, overwhelmed Citizens Christian on both sides of the ball, improving their impressive record.
Gaines showcased his versatility, finishing the game with 68 passing yards, including three touchdowns through the air. He added 34 rushing yards and another touchdown on the ground, while also catching a 17-yard pass for yet another score, capping a stellar all-around effort.
On the ground, James Frazier was unstoppable, leading the Generals’ rushing attack with 78 yards and two touchdowns. Frazier also anchored the defense, leading the team with six tackles and delivering a key defensive play with a pick-six for a touchdown.
Tyson Copeland chipped in 44 rushing yards and added both an offensive touchdown and a pick-six of his own, further showcasing the Generals’ defensive dominance.
The aerial attack was complemented by receiving touchdowns from Cason Evans and Benji Galindo, each hauling in scores from Gaines to contribute to the team’s offensive explosion.
Defensively, Hayden Coats made his presence felt with four tackles and an interception, helping the Generals stifle any attempt by Citizens Christian to generate momentum.
Their next game will be away against David Emanual Academy in Stillmore Friday night.
