PITTSBURGH — Trailing 40-37 at halftime, Frostburg State outscored Point Park in the second half 48-33 to win 85-73 on Saturday.
Emilee Weakley scored a game-high 36 points with 11 rebounds for the Bobcats (17-9, 11-7 Mountain East Conference).
Taylor Smith (18), Julie Spinelli (12) and Alanna Tate (10) also finished in double figure scoring.
Smith added seven rebounds while Tate had five assists.
Ari Bleda led the Pioneers (8-17, 6-13 MEC) with 17 points, followed by Aichata Ballo (14), Janiah Tillman (12) and Camille Fultz (10).
Bleda added five boards, four assists and two steals.
Frostburg heads to Davis & Elkins on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
No. 15 Harcum 79, Allegany College 30
CUMBERLAND — Harcum is the No. 15 in NJCAA Division II women’s basketball and showed why on Saturday, defeating Allegany College at Bob Kirk Arena.
Leading 16-10 after one quarter, the Bears (24-5) took command, outscoring the Trojans (5-20) in the second 31-6 to lead 47-16 at halftime.
Dejah Morris scored 12 of her 21 points in the second quarter for Harcum.
Sofia Vitucci led all scorers with 25 points for the Bears while Jaida Helm finished with 12 points.
Maylee Regan’s seven points led Allegany.
The Trojans conclude the regular season at Baltimore City on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
WVU Potomac State 60, Anne Arundel 50
ARNOLD — WVU Potomac State only shot 29% from the field, but found a way to beat Anne Arundel on Saturday.
The Catamounts (14-8) shot 22 of 75 (29%) from the field and were out-rebounded 62-48, but forced 24 turnovers and turned them into 18 points.
Amber Bing led Potomac State with 15 points, four rebounds and two steals while Hannah Ault (Hampshire) scored 14 points with six boards, four assists and two steals.
Aichatta Soumaoro led the Seahawks (2-17) with 21 points and nine rebounds while Lania Nick scored 18 with eight boards, five assists and two steals.
The Catamounts head to Christendom College on Monday at 6 p.m.
