SHORT GAP, W.Va. — No. 1 Frankfort scored 11 runs in the first inning and never looked back, cruising to a 15-0 three-inning win over Hampshire on Tuesday.
Six consecutive Falcons (6-0) recorded hits to open the bottom of the first and seven straight reached base.
Rylee Mangold and Avery Noel hit back-to-back home runs.
Mangold’s was a three-run shot to center while Noel’s was an inside the parker to right field.
Mangold and Noel each finished 3 for 3 with four RBIs while Aubrie Root also went 3 for 3.
Frankfort hosts No. 3 Northern (3-2) on Wednesday.
Hampshire (0-5) heads to Keyser (1-3) on Friday at 6 p.m.
Southern 11, East Hardy 4
BAKER, W.Va. — East Hardy committed eight errors which turned into five of Southern’s 11 runs on Tuesday.
Of Southern’s four runs in the first inning, three were scored off errors.
Adeline Wilson threw a complete game for the Rams (3-1), allowing five hits, two earned runs and six walks with 13 strikeouts.
Wilson and Emelee Parks each had two hits with Wilson driving in four RBIs.
Addison Armentrout sent the second pitch she saw over the right-field fence for a solo home run in the first inning for the Cougars (1-3).
Southern heads to Mountain Ridge on Wednesday before hosting Tucker County on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
East Hardy hosts Northern on Friday at 6 p.m.

HAMBLETON, W.Va. — A six-inning, one-run start from Lacey Moyers led Petersburg over Tucker County on Tuesday.
Moyers allowed six hits and a walk with eight punchouts for the Vikings (4-3).
Addison Kitzmiller and Blair Roy each recorded two hits with Kitzmiller adding a pair of RBIs.
Shyane Tawney stole three bases and added a hit and an RBI.
Petersburg hosts Pendleton County on Thursday at 6 p.m.

FRANKLIN, W.Va. — Baylee Beachler tossed six innings of one-run ball and hit a home run, leading Pendleton County over Moorefield on Tuesday.
Beachler allowed five hits, one run and three walks with eight strikeouts.
At the plate, she hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and finished 2 for 3 with three RBIs.
Aryana Hinz went five innings in relief for the Yellow Jackets (3-5), allowing eight hits, four runs and no walks with four strikeouts.
Moorefield hosts Strasburg, Virginia, on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
